Institutional Capacity of the Public Ministry in Zacapa

OBJECTIVE: analyze the fiscal work carried out by the Public Ministry during the management carried out in the years 2020, 2021 and 2022, specifically by the District Attorney’s Office of the department of Zacapa, northeastern region of the Country. METHOD: the methods to be used in this research are inductive, starting from a particular notion, from the study of the institutional capacity of the Public Ministry in the department of Zacapa, to derive more general conclusions that will require being complemented with the deductive method, so that, with the latter, more particular elements derived and the progress of the institution can be established. RESULTS: it was established that the work of the Public Ministry in the department of Zacapa has caused considerable progress for the population. During the years 2020 to 2022, it was determined that there is a top of higher frequency crimes. CONCLUSION: the Public Ministry, specifically the Zacapa District Prosecutor’s Office, during the years 2020, 2021 and 2022 has maintained progress in its institutional capacity, both in budget, assigned personnel, response to fiscal work, having a high effectiveness in providing procedural solutions, which represents a mediate response to the highest scourges of crime that affects the Zacapaneca population, the Zacapa District Prosecutor’s Office has worked on the criminal prosecution policy.
